What do I need to know before my appointment? Here are some guidelines to make sure that you and others enjoy the best possible experience when visiting Mayfair & Grace In consideration for other guests we request that all phones, iPads and other electronic devices be kept silent. All new guests must have an initial style consultation and allergy test at least 48 hours before they are able to book a colour service. We respectfully ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment to avoid changes/ shortening of your service. Due to limited seating, we kindly request that guests do not bring friends, relatives or children in to wait for them whilst having their hair service. We love children; however, some adult treatments can present a risk to children when accompanying a parent. Children can also become restless if the appointment time is extended. We therefore encourage our clients to be mindful of the risks and request they do not bring children to appointments unless the child is receiving a service. We also understand this can make booking appointments difficult and therefore ask clients to call ahead if they are not able to secure childcare arrangements. We will always do our best to assist.

How do you price your hair services? We have a tiered price system where you pay for the level of Stylist that you see. A Stylist’s level is determined by their experience, skill and popularity. For colour services we use an digital system that measures every gram of colour used. If the standard amount of colour is used in a service there is no additional charge. However if your hair requires more colour than that, we can now calculate the additional cost for the service. The main factors needing additional colour are: How long since we have seen you? (more regrowth) How long and thick is your hair? What colour you would like to achieve? Just to assure you, there is no uplift if more colour is needed, it is just what is costs the salon.
-
Why do I need to book a hair consultation if I want to have colour? We require guests to have an in-salon colour consultation in order book out the correct amount of time for your appointment.
